Why Riders Love It
1. Customize the Fit for Perfect Balance
Adjustable insert pockets allow you to fine-tune the padding placement, ensuring an optimal saddle fit. The included removable high-resilience foam layer and EcoAir Shield 3D spacer layer absorb shock and distribute pressure evenly, helping to prevent soreness and improve overall performance.

The underside is lined with Medical Fleece.
2. Soothe Sensitive Horses with Calmatech™ Fleece
Lined with dense, ultra-soft Calmatech™ Medical Fleece, this saddle pad reduces friction, wicks away moisture, and prevents irritation. Ideal for horses prone to rubbing or discomfort, the fleece layer keeps their back cool and comfortable even during intense rides.
3. Enhance Protection with Superior Shock Absorption
The high-resilience foam and EcoAir Shield inserts work to cushion impact and relieve pressure on your horse’s back. By minimizing strain, it helps prevent soreness after cross-country and jumping.
4. Eliminate Slipping with Non-Slip Technology
Ecogold’s Non-Slip technology secures the pad in place, eliminating shifting or bunching under the saddle. Ride with confidence and stability, knowing your pad won’t move.

The Calmatech saddle pad is shimmable.
5. Maximize Contact for a Secure Ride
The ergonomic contoured design with thin flaps enhances rider-horse connection. Enjoy better balance, improved communication, and a closer feel for a more stable ride.

I have the calmatech saddle pad in all 3 styles, and this is the best pad I own! The ability to add shims makes it super versatile and improves saddle fit without a half pad. This pad washes super well for something with fleece on the underside!

The Calmatech Cross Country Pad is the perfect pad to keep my horse comfortable while galloping on the cross country course. I used the pad for the first time in Ocala, FL last week and my saddle did not move an inch — plus my horse was happy and comfortable. I recommend the pad 100%!

This is the best pad ever. The first time I used this pad out in the hunt field she was the BEST she had ever been. This was not a fluke as I hunted her several times before the weather turned nasty here in KY. This was the only thing I changed for these rides. She has been a bit of a nervous horse but since I purchased this pad it has helped tremendously!!! It’s a bit pricey but it is worth every penny. If you are on the fence about it, give up a few cups of coffee at your fave coffee house & buy it. I promise your horse will thank you for it!

I was struggling with pads sliding out from underneath my new BUA saddle (saddle fit wasn’t the issue). Saw these pads and had to try it out! So far, it’s the only pad that stays under my saddle! Love the fleece underneath and how I can add or remove the inserts if need be. Can’t wait to try this pad out on an endurance ride!

These are the best pads on the market. They stay in place and are perfect for sensitive skinned horses. Wash brilliantly too – I’ve had mine 5 years now. Use both the jump and dressage versions.

This pad was a game changer. I have a high strung, sensitive thoroughbred who gets very tense at times. With this pad, he is now happy and excited to work. I’m saving up for a calm tech dressage pad!

The pad stays in place under the saddle even when jumping. Also easy to keep clean. Unfortunately the fleece is also along the spine where it is not needed and hinders getting the pad up inside the saddle gullet and not tight on the horses back. I ended up “cutting
out” the fleece along the spine to solve the problem.
