Saturday, September 26 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST

Learn from some of the best and brightest in the sport of dressage.

Ecogold invites you our inaugural dressage symposium. Attendees can watch virtually as Olympic and international trainers share their wealth of knowledge, from riding up the levels to understanding biomechanics, to unlocking key fundamental riding techniques, all from the comfort of your own home.

But this isn’t just another teleconference.

Participants will engage with presenters, be able to ask questions, and watch as the riders demonstrate methods through videos of their own riding.

Come armed to learn, and ready to leave with a new outlook on how to improve the next time you ride down centerline.

THE FIRST 50 REGISTRANTS WILL RECEIVE A FREE ECOGOLD SADDLE PAD.

Welcome. Meet Patricia Da Silva, CEO of Ecogold.

Understanding Biomechanics: The Principles of Effective Riding

Instructor: Jacqueline Brooks

When: 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Understanding the anatomical structures of the horse and how they work in synchrony is a fundamental base in understanding the sport of dressage and unlocking the power of performance in the horse. During this 45-minute session, Jacquie Brooks will offer a primer on biomechanics in the horse, and how riders can use these tools in understanding how the body moves to elevate their work in the dressage ring, from the perspective of all levels.

What “In Front Of The Leg” Really Means And How To Achieve It.

Instructor: Shannon Dueck

When: 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Shannon Dueck will explain the importance of riding and training dressage horses of all levels “in front of the leg.” During this 45-minute session, Shannon will define what “in front of the leg” truly means, and why it is paramount in establishing the correct connection, where the horse is willing to move forward into contact and into connection. “From this, we can then create impulsion and power, and then collection,” Shannon explains.

—– BREAK: 10:45 a.m. to 11: a.m. ——-

Unlocking The Secrets Of Rideability Through The Levels

Instructor: Ellesse Jordan Gundersen

When: 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Ellesse Jordan Gundersen will discuss how to create and maintain a level of rideability in the horse while introducing more mentally and physically stimulating work when moving up the levels. Maintaining a healthy, productive mindset and encouraging the horse to learn without overdrilling is key in developing rideability, from First through Grand Prix levels.

Closing remarks and discussion:
